RIP RIO: PIONEERING MP3player GOING BYE BYE

The RIO digital music player is joining the ranks of all ground-breaking technology that gets overtaken by intense competition. According to "Digital Village" on KPFK (90.7 FM in LA), the parent company that has made the Rio -- an MP3 player that helped jumpstart the huge digital portable media industry -- announced that soon they will no longer make it.
